Our Identity

Stewards of the Shoreline

We are a boutique firm rooted in South Africa’s coastal heritage — managing luxury properties, advising on waterfront development, and shaping marine tourism that respects the ocean’s rhythm.

01

For Discerning Owners

We serve property owners who demand more than standard management — bespoke concierge, asset preservation, and a network of vetted partners from Cape Town to the Wild Coast.

02

For Responsible Developers

We advise on low-impact waterfront projects that balance luxury with ecology — navigating permits, local partnerships, and sustainable design from concept to operation.

03

For Curious Travelers

We craft marine tourism experiences that feel personal and grounded — whale-watching in Hermanus, reef walks in Tsitsikamma, or a quiet villa stay above Clifton’s beaches.

“Our tone is confident but not loud — we speak of tides, timber, and terroir. Every project reflects a deep familiarity with the coastline and the people who live along it.”

Every villa and lodge under our management consistently earns top ratings. Our concierge team handles every detail, from housekeeping to private chef bookings, so owners see repeat bookings and premium rates.

Eco-Certified Development

We integrate solar power, rainwater harvesting, and reclaimed materials into every waterfront project. Our Tsitsikamma lodge is a certified model for low-impact tourism inside a marine protected area.

Full-Service Logistics

From airport transfers to guided whale-watching trips, we coordinate every aspect of a coastal stay. Owners and guests never worry about permits, skippers, or local partnerships—we handle it all.

Local & Cultural Integration

We work with Khoisan storytellers, Walker Bay winemakers, and local skippers to create authentic experiences. Guests leave with more than a tan—they understand the coastline’s heritage.

International Media Recognition

Our Hermanus retreat was featured in Condé Nast Traveller as one of South Africa’s top coastal stays. That kind of exposure drives direct bookings and elevates property values for owners.

End-to-End Advisory

Whether you’re buying a cliffside plot or retrofitting an existing lodge, we guide you through permits, environmental impact assessments, and design choices that maximize both value and sustainability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straightforward answers about our coastal services.

What areas do you cover along the South African coast?

We operate primarily along the Western Cape and Garden Route, from the Atlantic Seaboard (Clifton, Camps Bay) through Hermanus, and into the Tsitsikamma region. For bespoke projects beyond these areas, we assess on a case-by-case basis.

Do you manage short-term holiday rentals or long-term leases?

Our focus is on luxury short-term and mid-term stays (3 nights to 3 months). We do not handle standard long-term leases. Every property under our care receives full concierge-level management, including guest screening, housekeeping, and maintenance.

What makes your waterfront development advisory different?

We integrate marine ecology, local regulations, and community impact from day one. Our team includes environmental consultants and former coastal planners, so we help clients navigate permit processes, site sensitivity, and sustainable design before breaking ground.

Can you help with marketing a coastal property I already own?

Yes. We offer a standalone marketing service for existing coastal properties, including professional photography, listing copywriting, and placement on premium travel platforms. This is separate from our full management contracts and can be tailored to a single season or year-round.

How do you ensure sustainable marine tourism practices?

Every tour operator and lodge we partner with must follow a code of conduct: no wildlife disturbance, strict waste management, and local hiring. We audit these practices annually and provide guests with educational materials about the ecosystems they are visiting.
